Scope of application

The ISO 10667-1/2:2011 is a new international quality standard intended for the assurance of quality as well as maintaining continuous improvement in occupational assessments processes dealing with job related suitability evaluations, i.e. hiring and selection processes, potentials analysis, etc. 
This standard is not tied to a certain type or range of industrial sectors, e.g. not only to human resources consultants, head hunting agencies, and can be used cross-sectoral.
Likely to all ISO standards, ISO 10667-1/2:2011 is not intended for and therefore not applicable on product assessment and certification. Specific procedures of a related occupational assessment process, e.g. psychological personality and/or intelligence tests, occupational aptitude tests, interviewing methods, assessment centers, etc. are considered products as defined by ISO 10667-1/2:2011 and thus are excluded from applicational scope of this very standard.
